Computer Connections - The Storage Company to distribute the Edgedupe

I am pleased to announce that Computer Connections from Harrogate. One of the UK's most famous and respected storage companies have been appointed as the distributor for our Edgedupe range of DVD Duplicator Controllers and Chassis. I was priveleged enough to share with you all a copy of Michelle Birmingham from Edge10 and Martin Burrage from CCI shaking hands to cement the deal.

Mac Expo 2006

The Mac Expo is almost upon us. It will be held in the ational Hall at Olympia. Expect to see some of the Edge10 team there. R&D are currently working on the speciality monitors designed for video editing, print production, graphic design and a whole host  of applications where colour accuracy is at MISSION CRITICAL levels.

I cannot express in words how cool this site is. I ws particulary impressed with this site and I thought that I would share it through the Edge10 blog. Digg is quite ana mazing company and one of my personal favourites, I particularly love this graphical feature called Swarm.

Strategic Direction - Web2.0

Last week when Steve and Chad from Youtube made their big announcement through Techcrunch that they had manged to get nearly USD2Bn for their site. It set me thinking that the times they are a changing. Edge10 as a company has always embraced change and here we were thinking what will that mean to us.(deep thoughts in the style of Aristotle..fist on chin...) Then I had a moment of clarity and from that moment I started plotting our web 2.0 strategy. I am pleased to tell you those feelings resonated well with the Edge10 team members and we imediately put our plan into action. Unfortunately due to the sensitive nature of this blog announcement we are still under NDA, but as soon as I am ready to announce our plan I would love to share it with all of you avid readers of the Edge10 blog. But not just yet....

Monitor panel price hikes following the jump in September

It seems that monitor panel pricingis rising again, according to the pundits in Taipei.

"After experiencing an over 10% price increase in September, mainstream monitor panel price is expected to continue the uptrend followed by a 3-5% increase in the first half of October. Seasonal demand and supply constraint are the key factors pushing price higher. Meanwhile, TFT-LCD panel vendors all endeavor to rise monitor panel price amid the cyclical upswing."
