Installing the DLNA plug in for the Edge10 NAS400 - Edgestore

Installing Application Plug-ins Application plug-ins are enhancements to EdgeStore’s capabilities. The DLNA server, which enables EdgeStore to support the UPnP protocol, is one example of an application plug-in. Follow this procedure to install an application plug-in on your EdgeStore.

Downloading the Plug-in File,

To download the plug-in file:

1. Download the plug-in file you want from the Edge10 website onto your PC.

2. Copy the plug-in file from your PC to a folder on the EdgeStore.

Installing the Plug-in File

1 Start the EASM interface.

2. In the Tree, click on the + beside the Management icon.

3. Click on the System Upgrade icon.

4. From the Volume dropdown menu, choose the Volume that has the folder with the plug-in file.

5. From the Folder dropdown menu, choose the Folder that contains the plug-in file.

6. In the File Name field, type the name of the plug-in file.

7. Click the OK button to begin the installation. When the installation is done, a system message appears.

8. Click the OK button on the system message.
