Position Sales and Marketing Executive

Based in Alderley Edge,

Cheshire

Reports to Sales Manager, Company Director

Salary £14-18K negotiable plus Mobile phone and notebook computer. (company car after initial period)

Company: Edge10 is a £5 Million Pound electronics company specialising in Application Specific Display Monitors and Data Storage Solutions. Due to our growth in customers and product range a vacancy exists in Sales and Marketing.

Position duties: To plan and carry out sales and marketing activities in order to maintain and develop sales of Edge10’s product range to

UK

national accounts in accordance with agreed business plans.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities;

1.        Account Management – Maintain and develop existing and new customer relationships through planned account support, follow up sales enquiries by personal visits, telephone, email and instant messenger. Liaise with internal order-processing and logistics staff.

2.        Sales and Administration preparation – Progress sales and orders, train and introduce new products to clients, handle management sales enquiries, follow-up leads, introduce samples and demonstrate products.

3.        Marketing – Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes and timescales. Advertising products, public relations and blog creation.

4.        Reporting – Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information including competitor analysis, sales, forecasts, material requisition planning.

5.        Planning – Develop and analyse existing database, internet searching for competitor and reseller pricing.

Attributes required;

The position would suit a well presented, self driven individual with excellent social skills. The job involves  constant interaction with our distributors, resellers and final users. The applicant must be able to communicate, motivate and understand the principles of marketing. Constant Training will be given and the company is very friendly. A full driving licence is required with the ability to spend two or more nights away per month. A working knowledge of MS office, Internet, email and Sage would be an advantage.
