Peak Season Surcharge (PSS)

Peak Season Surcharge (PSS)

Due to continuing and sustained volume growth, the Shipping Lines have

decided to implement a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS). This will be applied

to all cargo sailing from the Far East on/after 1st August 2009.

The level of the PSS varies between the different Shipping Lines and an

update will be provided on the levels within this week, but the

indication given by the Shipping Lines is around $200 per TEU.
